i heard that velodromes do not allow bianchi pistas to race because the pista's bottom bracket clearance is not high enough.
is that true?
cause ive always thought that the pistas had that "true track geometry"

I've seen plenty of folks race on velodromes with Pistas so theres definitely not a blanket ban.
However, the steeper the track, the smaller your BB height and the longer the cranks, the more likely you may have pedal strike. So I can imagine some of the fancy pants tracks (ADR, Manchester etc) not letting you ride if they think your equipment is going to damage the track.
Oh and BTW theres no such thing as true track geometry :)
