Hi, I was wondering what you all think. Should I get a litespeed firenze, or the Look KG 361? The Litespeed is titanium, and the Look is carbon. They both cost about 2000$. I will be doing alot of road racing. And also be doing the ironman. I just cant decide. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

you shopping at bikefarmer.com?

The litespeed has 105 front der. bottom bracket and chain

The Look is all Ultegra.

The litespeed frame should last forever, the Carbon will eventually wear out, but that is years away. I would think that the Ti would also hold its value better if you wanted to sell down the road.

If it was me, Id get the LOOK, Because I've always wanted one, and becuase I like that Matte Black Finish with the white Decals, but it appears that bike farmer only has them in the CSC colors at the moment.

But then again, Ive always wanted a Ti bike, so..........I see your dilema.

I have the Firenze and love it. Not many miles yet, but she has a sweet ride.

Both are awsome bikes for the $$$.

The litespeed has 105 front der. bottom bracket and chain True, but I upgraded mine to full Ultegra triple :D .

I think you will really need to ride both. One will probably just feel right compaired to the other. Tough decision, let your rear end decide.

The thing is that for $2000 you won't be able to buy the Look except for 2003 closeouts. The reason I mention this is that for closeouts sometimes you're stuck with just what the store has left (e.g. CSC colors). Personally, I was eyeing a Look 461 but I'll wait until next year to see if I can't get a good deal on a '04 since they've been upgraded from the '03. Good luck tho. Both are good quality frames and provide a great ride. LOOK Link (http://www.excelsports.com/new.asp?page=8&description=KG461+Frame+with+LDS4+Fork+Matte+Black&vendorCode=LOOK&major=1&minor=1)

Don't those Look carbons have aluminum lugs? That's the only thing that bothers me about it. I like the frame, looks nice.

The Firenze will look great and you can get new stickers every year to update your bike. Also, if you polish the Ti it will add another $1K in looks!

Ultegra/105- who cares, they are so similar.

Since you are considering the Firenze, you might also look at the Lemond Arivee. I spoke to a dealer the other day who offered it at $2,200....retails for $2,800. Good luck in your hunt.
