I just recently bought some really nice flat bars for my fixed gear but when I got them they were super long.
Can I cut them to make them a little shorter?

get a pipe cutter and measure evenly. or most shops will do it for 10 bucks.

You cannot cut them. You just have to use them like they are and look like a nerd.

Haha I mean I didn't want the structural integrity of the pipe or whatever to be compromised.
Thanks guys.

I use my right angle grinder with a cut off wheel. If you're nervous, cut it about 1/8 too long and grind it down the rest. works like a charm for me.

Cut away to whatever length you like. The worst that can happen is you'll make them too short. If so, don't post asking how to make them longer.:)

+1. you may even have to run streamers from your grip ends as well.
