anyone else interested/doing this ride? It's over Labor Day weekend... Sunday (8/31/08)

I loved the Dairyland Dare ride so much, I'm going back... this time for a full century:D This ride supposedly uses alot of the same roads... and I hear it's a great supported ride. Here is the link...

Will be camping at Governor Dodge... not wasting a bit of this summer:giver:

If anyone is interested... pm me. We have about 5 gathering at the start already. Can't guarantee we'd all stick together... but we certainly can meet up for a beer later and have some fun:beer:

Sorry I missed talking with you at the Dare. It is a great ride, isn't it? I just love it.

Sounds like you and racebrat have had a great summer of riding. You are very smart to savor every minute of it. The leaves on my maple tree out front are already starting to turn. :(

I gotta ask: do the nice folks in Mt. Horeb (and locals nearby) get a little sick of all the hill climb sufferfests that go through? Seems they have one every other weekend.

The Town of Vermont in western Dane County requires permits for organized rides because they are not particularly fond of the cyclists and their trash and road markings. There was a big stink over it a few years back. But otherwise, I think the area enjoys the revenue.

I am a Bombay Club member. This is a very well run ride (not that I will be doing it).

I remember on the HHH, all the tri-geeks dumping their gel packets. It was a toss-up between those and Bud Light cans on the roadside.
