Mountain Biking - Kitsuma - old new ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I recently found a 2002 Litespeed Kitsuma frame on Ebay - Very good condition - I have always loved this bike. I own a 1998 Litespeed Owl Hollow HT (which I bought new), but I am looking to build this up as something not so XC race specific - I plane to race it in endurance mtb races. The frame weighs 4 lbs even - I would like a 25 lb bike with 5" front travel - my question is the parts spec - cost is not a big issue, but reliability is. I am thinking a Fox front fork with the 15mm axle - other than that I have not built a bike in a while - suggestions.
Spokane? Doesn't Dminor live near there or something?
Go discs is possible.
It's a disc only frame - so that is the plan
Dminor does live around here - I've seen him at a couple of races, but our styles are different.

He may be older than most here - but he's probably faster than most here.
He's a DH guy - I moonlight at DH races now and then but I'm a endurance guy, XC racer at heart.
