this does not need to turn in to a ****ing debate!
if you are running a shimano BB with your Sugino 75s I want to know what bb works best for you.

I don't want to hear about jis vs. iso!

Dude, Shimano is JIS and the 75 is ISO. Your bike is going to spontaneously combust.

I'm pretty sure it's a UN73.

Make sure to grease one of the tapers, and don't grease the other. Loctite on one side and teflon tape on the other.

I have a UN-73 in the 68x107 variety. It sits at around 42mm for the chainline.

If you ask me why, I'll tell you that I didn't want to keep all the tools around to maintain another type of BB when all my other bikes are Shimano cartridge.

don't worry I'm selling it after I put the 75s on so some hipster freshman at the university is farked.;)
I just want to get my dura-ace off before I sell it.

I was thinking of just JB welding the cranks to a stick. what do you think about that? should it work?

nah, if you use a stick then you MUST use rabbit skin glue.

Yea, the phil is pretty money, but not if you're selling it. Just come clean with the kid. Tell him to buy his own damned phil BB. :)
