I ride with cages and straps, and I usually do okay getting my feet in, but still quite often, usually if i'm in front at a traffic light, the light turns green, i'm hurrying to get my foot in, lot of times I'll miss the cage and end up riding through the light unstrapped, on the other side of the pedal.

Are there any techniques, or maybe a certain pedal you guys suggest?

thanks.

I am a fan of MKS GR-9s. They have a flat platform and easily accept clips and straps.

Just ordered a set in black. I am putting my old PowerGrips from my MTB on them when they get here.

First learn to trackstand

And do your pedals have a tab on the underside to kick it around? My old pedals didn't and it made flipping the pedal over kinda annoying so I did the ziptie trick that I came across somewhere on the internets:

Made kicking in way easier
