I have just come across this forum and have read through a number of threads. This seems to be a great place to hang out.

I started riding seriously in 1969 after a tour in Vietnam. My first "lightweight" bicycle was a water-pipe Schwinn Continental - This lump had no resemblance to the new 2008 version from Schwinn. I suppose it rode and handled better then anything that I had ever ridden while growing up, but there was no excitement.

The Schwinn went away less then two weeks after I had the opportunity to ride a 1969 Peugeot PX-10 which absolutely took my breath away. . . . . I was hooked for life.

Fast forward through 21 years in New York and then another 10 and here I am back in Floridays enjoying a slower paced life.

Hello Daddo, love your avatar! One of my sisters has a rescue Boxer, named Teddy. He is a very handsome 10 year old.

So, what bike are you riding nowadays? Are you still a Classic & Vintage kind of person?

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !
