I'm planning to remove the cogs from my Suntour Pro-Compe freewheel. I'm sure they're going to be tight; the freewheel itself was a real pain to get off. Would it be best to try to do this with two chain whips, or with one chain whip and a freewheel vise? I'm planning to use at least one Park SR-1 chain whip (http://www.parktool.com/products/detail.asp?cat=4&item=SR%2D1), but instead of buying another one I'm considering this Freewheel Cluster Vise (http://www.bicycletool.com/freewheelclustervise.aspx) or maybe even this Cluster Vise Business Card Holder (http://www.bicycletool.com/clustervisebusinesscardholder.aspx) (it would be fun to keep one of these on my desk with my business cards in it).
Which approach is more likely to work on an old freewheel that probably has never had its cogs removed since they were installed sometime in the '80s? Does anyone here any experience with this particular freewheel vise?
