I will be transferring everything over to a new frame that uses an integrated headset. My current giant OCR3 has a Cane Creek FSA integrated headset. I pulled the fork off but I cant figure out what I need to do to get the headset out. Do I need any special tools? Any help is appreciated.

There are a few standards of "Integrated Headsets". You need to make sure they are compatible with each other.

But, the bearings should pop out, if not use a screwdriver and carefully pry out the bearings from the headtube. You'll also need to take the crown race off and you will need a crown race puller tool.

The easiest thing to do is get a new headset and leave the fork on the ocr on the frame

Sounds like something that I may need to have a shop do for me. If I were to get a new headset how difficult is that to install?

The bearings will drop into the frame so there are no tools required. You will need to put on the crown race. Have a shop do that or get some pvc that fits over the steerer tube to use as a slide hammer. There are two main standards, the Cane Creek standard and the Campagnolo standard. Your frame literature should specify one or the other.

my frame specifies that it needs the IS cane creek type. Why do you think I should leave the fork on the ocr. The fork is fine. Would this be the right headset to buy?
