So Foosters

per my previous post I dumped this girl I was dating
who seemed very indifferent to me--so much so she
was repeatedly inconsiderate with last
minute changes in plans and other bs. Now when I'm around
her she is occasionally snarky. Mind you this
was not any kind of a serious thing. Six or seven
dates, a kiss here or there that's it. I ran my
e-mail for letting her know I was out past a female
friend and she said it was very, very nice and
complimentary but clear. What gives? I mean
I know there is really no answer--people are weird.
There is no rational reason someone would be indifferent
and then act hurt after they got dumped. But rationality
is like all out the window this being the land of the heart.

Enough of my dating updates. I am a magnet for whizzackos.

UA sometimes I really think that but I don't think the lack
of trustworthiness is unique to the wimmins. But I don't trust
this one. I think she was angling to get me wrapped around
the axle and then dump me and when I bailed in a polite way
I deprived her of the pleasure of hurting me and any righteous
justification for thinking of me as a jerk--

If that's true, that's super creepy. I hope that's not the case though. Sometimes when it feels that way, it's just because they're confused about what they want, and you just happen to get rapped up into it.

Well, at least you still have the sense of mind to know it's counterproductive to hate us all. ;)

I don't necessarily think she was angling to break up with you; rather, she just didn't know what she wanted, and when you "dumped" her, she started wondering, "What? He didn't like me???" You broke her ego! Then again, I could be wrong... maybe she is a freak.

I've known my roommate for more than 20 years - have gone thru two marriages about about 4 girlfriends and all women - including the one he's with now are/were psychotic in some way - and were on thorozine, etc. The one wife thought the Hell's Angels were after her and also would tell me about the aliens (outer space) she would see.

I do not know how he does it, but every one of his ex girls etc was like this. And usually the relationships ended badly.

This sounds harsh, but I truly believe that everybody attracts exactly what they want out of a relationship. He may say he doesn't like these crazy women, and it may be true, but I'd be willing to bet if he ran across a down-to-earth, great woman, he'd look the other way without even necessarily realizing it.

I think you must have been dating a girl I have "dated" [?] off and on in the last year. Does her name begin with a "C" by any chance?

Annoying, isn't it? Have plans for a Saturday, for example, and then by Friday a friend of hers comes into town who is only going to be there a short while, and suddenly things are postponed.

It de-volved into a mutually-agreed platonic friend thing after getting back in touch after I had been dating other women. Which was cool for awhile -- nice to sit across from a female without being concerned with creating romance. But over time I grew to realize that platonic friends means I buy dinner once per month. After a dinner bill topped $300 recently, that was all I could take.

I don't know that this relates to your situation, but I feelz your pain.

I know it does sound harsh, and I think my long time friend can not be the nicest person sometimes to the girls, however I've had to pick up some of the pieces after the bad break ups. Told him I never want to be involved - and have been sucked into a couple of them when he called for help and I drive over and he runs out and tosses a big back in my back seat - and next she comes out and sits in the car - her voice is quite slury - guess she had been off her meds once again - came home that morning after running off a couple days earlier - dropped off by a van with a few guys in it and her bra was on ---- fastened on the outside of her shirt - and she was slury voiced as she said "XX stuffed a throzine down me". And she was dropped off at the train station to go home to her Mom.

ugh. Do not like.

E-mail seemed appropriate to her level of interest
and her general stance of distance. You reap what

I'm in the same catagory as Tom. Since when have women needed justification. You broke up with her....you are a jerk (her point of view, not mine).

Another option is you always want what you can't have. When we were friends she was ok with it and didn't care much about what you thought. Now, that you don't want me (her speaking), you are all I can think about, you're my dream boat, the future father of all my childern:love:

She's snarky because she's thinking, "OMG, he doesn't break up with me! I break up with him!"

what is the 1 thing all these women have in common?
...you.
I'll be the first to admit we're mostly crazy and I don't get "us" collectively, either.
But seems to me you're picking the whizzackos?

There's something about them that's intriguing/appealing/exciting to you, kaiju-san. When things are going good, women like this are really fun to be around, yes? Their energy/vibe is what you want until it turns sour. Excitement can turn to dramatic misery pretty easily, I think.

BTW, there are males who are analogous to the female type in question. Fortunately for me, I am also allergic to them. :)

My friend just dumped a girl via Facebook...

now that's cold!

I got my romantic walking paper once by Facebook. The guy actually changed his status to 'it's complicated' and then 'single' and I called him and asked him where he'd left his balls that he couldn't at least pick up a phone. It IS cold, but it only confirmed my opinion of him.

Plus, I'm not crazy. :twitchy:
