Bloody taxi pulls infront of me on the shoulder and proceeds to let out the passenger. Dumb ***** dosent even look and opens the door on me then BAM! My whole right arm is swollen. I could have killed her!

It hardly seems appropriate to penalize the taxi service for the actions of the passenger, and in any case (here we go again) violent responses from the offended party tend to backfire, for good reason.
Isn't it illegal to open the back door of a taxi on the street side?
I think it's illegal in NYC anyway...make that complaint to her ins. co. and/or the cab co. to cover damages, etc.
I don't think a law suit is always the best option although sometimes it takes that much to get any action.
