Hi, I'm new, ( not improved, though!) 50 years old, female, bought a bike to get in shape, Giant Revive, and an electric kit to drag my sorry ass home when I'm too tired to get back! I have a couple questions I posted under the wilderness kit. My hobbies are fixing computers & raising birds, and I'm a Landlord in S.E Iowa, I also do the maintenance for those. :crash: Anybody with any input can contact me there, no spam please! Currently building a trunk for it out of old refrigerator drawers, the slanted seat design makes traditional bags difficult, and I need to secure the batts from being stolen. So Moto tool in hand I forge onward, if its noteworthy, I may even post a pic later!

Hi bigbirdlover--how big are these birds? Turkey size? Eagle size? Ostrich?

Welcome to BikeForums, and feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions .

Gonna have to be WAY bigger! Already got it fabbed up, bought 2 file boxes at staples dirt cheap, it looks good, I'm going to post a pic when the paint dries.

That IS a nice bag though! Paranoid about someone swiping my battery pack, need a lockable.

Kinda eagle size, blue & gold macaw, plus a green cheeks conure, 7 Lady Gouldian finches. Sounds like a Christmas tune, doesn't it?

All you need are ladies dancing and lords a leaping!

You have a very colourful aviary, from the sounds of it.

And LOUD. The animal cops came a couple years back & I had to glass in my bird room, apparently the neighbors were not amused. He still gets to yell at the wild birds on the back porch with me in the morning when I have coffee. That's a nice blog you have. Been around a lot I see! You collect bikes like I collect computers. Ever do a ride in Australia? I'd like to take the big bird for a bike ride, but I'm afraid he'd have his wings out screaming the whole way, gets very excitable when he's happy!

I have not yet gone to Australia, but I would certainly not mind going!

As long as there are birds, animals, and plants--I always find something to enjoy, no matter where I am :D .
