If you are looking for a beautiful yet challenging Fall bike ride, please have a look at the Black Hills WRATH (weekend ride around the hills) MS event. Set in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, it is possibly the most challenging MS ride in the country. It is a Sat/Sun ride with total mileage options of up to 170 if you do the long route both days. The first day has a century option with 9,513 feet of climbing! The route takes you past Mt. Rushmore, up and over the Black Hills Needles, into Custer State Park, across Iron Mt. Road with it's wooden corkscrew "pigtail" bridges, through tunnels, etc. This is truly some of the most spectacular riding in the country! The ride is the weekend of Sept. 13 & 14th.
