Hey, I am thinking about riding from Chicago to California next summer and want a bike now to start training a bit. On craigslist I found a pretty nice sounding Lotus Odyssey but dont know much about the bike having never heard of it. Components sound pretty good. IIRC, Lotus bikes were pretty low-end for Japanese. Decent quality, but nothing to get excited about. Now if that was a mid-70s PX10 for $299....

mabye you should try to talk him down. offer him 150 then go up to 200. It has racks on it, its probably a good bike but not 300 good. the things people try to sell on Chicago CL I saw someone selling a murry for 300.
