Are there are any riding forums for people specifically in the DC area? Im looking for some place where I can find good rides and hopefully discover some group rides.

Nothing specific for DC on these boards. Usually someone just posts a question or suggestion on the Mid-Atlantic forum(s) ;)
Local clubs like Potomac Peddlars and Oxon Hill.

I usually check the PPTC and OHBTC sites first. If there is nothing interesting I just do a solo ride somewhere.

The BikeWashington Yahoo group mentioned above is pretty active. There is also a "Pedalers" group on Google that gets a fair amount of traffic - it is DC area:
