Just wondering if These Dia Compe Silver Shifters (http://www.velo-orange.com/diacosish.html) would work with a Shimano 10 speed cassette. I can't see why it wouldn't, but I figured I'd ask someone smrter than me before I do something stupid like buy them. Especially since they say 5-9 speed only.

Obviously (I hope it's obvious) they are friction shifters so they will work with any number of cogs. Since they will sweep the width of an 8 or 9-speed cassette, they will also work for 10-speed which are no wider.

Yeah, I figured it was the obvious answer. I just thought it was weird that everywhere I found these online spec'd them for 9-speed and maybe there was something not-quote-so-obvious I was missing. But thanks for clearing it up.
