I get to watch two of the Grandchildren tomorrow starting at 0730. We'll probably go for a ride; but, it will be relatively short and S L O W !
Maybe I'll just keep it in Granny all day, and practice spinning..........
Now, I'll have to make up for it on Sunday - after church, of course..

A slow ride is better than no ride. And done properly, your getting a new generation off to a good start for years of happiness.

It'll probably be about 18 miles total - with a hot dog stand in the middle. Then, they will brag about their 20 mile ride for the rest of the weekend...... LOL

riding with the grandkids is one of life's simple pleasures... I rode 12 miles with 2 granddaughters last Sunday, and it was absolutely amazing. They had perspectives that were totally different from mine, and we saw things I have never seen--even though I ride that trail every week.
Enjoy!

Wanderer,
What a great experience. My grandkids are still under 5 years. I bought the eldest one his first bike this summer. I will try to ride with him when he gets the training wheels off. Great post.
