Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Bar mounted, wheel driven, Super Soaker for your bike.

Looks like just the thing for chasing dogs. Load it with paint and mark rude cagers! Have bike wars!
Does anyone remember the Big Wheels with the squirt gun mounted on the bars?

that look interesting. If I am down there riding in northshore (where the pic looks like it was taken) and I get hit by some damn kid with that....hmmmm?!?
Sounds like a hard sell to me. You think someone who pays $100 for a bike like in the photos is going to pays another $40 for the kit $?? for installation, so their kids can break it the moment they drop the bike? I can't see someone who puts down decent money on a bike even consider buying one.
Personally, I don't think it's safe anyhow: any toy like that makes me want to put sticks in the front wheel, preferably at high speeds.

I showed the article to my nine year old daughter who thinks it will be the next big thing like the Razor she just had to have and has worn out. I wouldn't buy one but was curious to see what a kid would think of it.

Oh ya they will. Go into any kid's room these days. It will be so full of toys and entertainment that you can hardly find space to walk.
$40.00 is nothing. Most software for video games cost that much and kids have them stacked higher than Sunday pancakes. The shoes they wear cost three times that much and the skateboards are about six times that much. The gasoline mama buys to drive the kids around town for a week costs nearly that much.
No question. It won't be the money that stops kids from getting the cycle squirt-gun. I hope it is as fun as it sounds. If so, I will outfit the family with them - cheaper than a weekend trip out of town.

Someday, Englert envisions communities across the country erecting their own Water Wheels parks complete with ramps and targets for drive-by squirters to practice and compete. Then, perhaps, even video games and a movie based on his Water Wheels characters.
Wow. Just..... wow. Certainly has his sights set high, doesn't he?

I think "dog-fights" with handle bar-mounted paintball guns would be a lot of fun... Squirt guns? Nah.
