A private airplane crashed into a house today in Las Vegas. Killed three people: two occupants of the house and the pilot.:eek:

Crazy.

From what I have heard it made national news.

As an aircraft mechanic, I really hate the term "experimental". It has a completely different meaning to most people than it does to the people in the industry. "Experimental" airplanes are usually designs that have already undergone rigorous testing but that someone outside of the designer builds. So in truth, experimental airplanes are just about as safe as non-experimental.
