Anyone heard of these guys? They appear to have some good deals on single speeds and fixies...and my old fixie (Pinky) is dying hard <whimper>

Looks like they have some inexpensive frames on clearance.. Haven't ridden or seen one in person though.

Just finished building one up (road frame) for my brother. Very nice. Quick to ship and no issues during buildup. Very adequate clearance in the rear. Running 700x35c cross tires.

i ride an iro frame and am quite pleased with it. my buildup went very smooth as well. there is a write up on one in the newest issue of dirtrag.

i had the pleasure of meeting tony portera tonight. he is IRO cycle. very nice guy, and went way out of his way to get my frame to me (he lives in staten island, works in manhattan - i met him at his work place to pick it up).

i bought his Mark V frameset, and am building it up this week, using his fixed/free hub. i'll check back in this weekend after a few miles, but the frameset/hub look 100% solid and well worth the money.

chris

xcutterx Where do you get your info from ? Your post is a total fabrication.
Time out.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if you don't like it tough.

Time in.

tony- i am not going name off names. i don't think it matters who told me really. if its not true than good. its just what i was told.like i said its probably 3rd hand info so take it for what its worth i guess. i have nothing against you or IRO. maybe posting gossip isn't the best idea so i will just delete my post.

I recently brought an iro fixie. I plain on upgrading the stock fork with a carbon and go with a larger chainring, but other than that I'm happy with it. For the price, you can't beat it.

What do you think of that Cream City? It's on my short list of frames to save up for.
