Hi, I am in my fifties have been riding a 1992 Bianchi SLX road bike and a Klein Attitude mountain bike. I'm now beginning to consider either shifting to carbon for the road bike or fixing up the Bianchi with old and new. I'm in Central California and happy to be part of the forum.

Hi oldnew,

Welcome to BikeForums. Stop by the Classic & Vintage Forum. You'll find a bunch of folks who will be interested in you, and your sweet rides.

Cheers,

Z

Welcome.

As a few celeste rider, I'd say hold onto the Bianchi. It'll be way more stylish than the latest carbon clone. (I ride a '96 Campione d'Italia. I have a real soft spot for steel lugged Italian road bikes.)
