i just cannot understand how to mount my rear derailleur on my nakamura touring bike (its the style of derailleur which hold pretty much only by the axle bolt) theyres a "half moon" flat washer thats comes with it but i dont remember how ive taken this out, could anyone help me or am I too vague ?

what i dont get is how the nut (under the cable) goes on there ???

The "half moon washer" goes in the axle slot toward the back. Then the bolt goes through the derailleur hanger and into the "washer."
