well i finally finished building up the uzzi and took it for a 18 mile spin today. while removing the bike from my rack i noticed it was quite heavy at least compared to my other rides but i wasn't really concerned because this bike was build for the sole purpose of shuttling/ski lifts and heavy duty trail riding. i hit the trail and was supprised how well it pedals on the flats i cranked the big ring just like i do on my blur. on the hills i attemped :D to do some out of saddle climbing and that was where the added weight was noticed. i cleaned all the climbs i normally do but i did struggle more than normal. NOW FOR THE FUN. downhill the bike is amazing, i purposely took lines i normally avoid just to test out the suspension and was very happy with the outcome. small, medium, and medium/large bumps were eaten up and spit out, one 3 foot drop was easily handled even with my nongraceful riding style. i can't wait to put a more aggressive fork on this badboy. taking turns on the bike felt great, very stiff and tracks very well. this will be the last bike for a while so i had too make it count.
