This may be a completely dumb question... but can you just replace a 50oz reservoir with a 100oz one and still use the same backpack? Would there be enough room? The bladder is a lot cheaper and it would be nice to just replace the bladder vs buying a whole new pack.

It would probably fit physically, but you might not be able to fill it all of the way.

It doesnt work, at least with the 2000ish year camelbacks.

If you purchased a small pack then the longer 3L (100oz) bladder won't fit the smaller 50 oz pack.
