has anyone done this before, or used a device like this? if so how did it work for raising performance/endurance. also what did you use a commercial device or a homemade remedy (straw method)

Breathing is usually not the problem even though it may feel (and sound) like it.

+1. Save your time and money.

One breathing thing I find that helps when you're going very hard. Concentrate on full exhales. The body will take care of the inhale.
