Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I bought my first bike in almost a decade today, a reasonably priced low-mid range Apollo Mountain Bike from Halfords. It was only when I got it home that I realised just how much MB technology has changed, even at that low price level.

Basically what I'm looking for is help, and lots of it, on putting my Bike together.

I know most of you will probably roll your eyes and think what a buffoon!, but we all start somewhere.

I havn't long since moved house, but if I find my camera I think I can post pictures.

but we all start somewhere.
Yeah but I would hope u have the wisdom to know whether your "somewhere" is square#1 or square#5 and let the professionals take care of 1-4.

Post away and may the patience members be wit u.

And don't be shy using the SEARCH button. Just about all the questions u maybe asking is already been answered.

Glad to help, if I can! What are the specific questions you need answers to? If you bought an Apollo from Halfords you must be UK-based - whereabouts?

you could have got them to build it up for you for free.

the bike will be in a box with the front wheel and bars off.
need those parts fitted and some adjustments
