I got a nice slow 10 mile ride in this afternoon......flat and no speed, but I did it! I'm wearing my knee brace, folks, and it feels great! :commute: That is all! :D

Good news Tom. Especially good news ther was no serious damage.

I'm planning my return ride for this evening after the heat subsides a bit. I figure when you have lost 8 lbs in 6 days due to illness, the heat isn't your friend. Hopefully, no film at 11:00, lol.

I feel your pain Tom.

After a month of Pneumonia and now Water on The Knee, I will hopefully be back on the bike in about 10 days and I am sure I will be starting from scratch. What a bummer, but it beats the alternative, which is not being able to ride at all.

I have set a goal to take really good care of myself for the next month and am planning on rewarding myself with a weekend camping/Mtn. Bike trip around the first week of Oct. in your neck of the woods Nashville/Brown County, IN:ride:

Take good care of yourself.

Hilly Hundred? If my class schedule and homework allows, I may be there myself. :D

Were you wearing the USSR jersey?

Tom Stormcrowe

No, actually, an Ivy Tech T Shirt and a pair of cargo shorts over the bibs. It was just a casual ride. ;) I'll be doing some hills tomorrow, since I'll also be bike commuting to classes.

I must've missed something when work got crazy! But I'm glad to hear you're back in the saddle. You're like some kinda... Inspiration Train or something.
