Is anyone doing any of the Tour de Strongland races this year (or at least know more about it) in Vandegrift PA? They are September 6 and 7. http://www.strongland.org/bikerace.html

I'm thinking of entering one of the road races, but because they are not USCF, I have no idea what the benchmark of "intermediate" or "expert" races, and I don't want to end up getting shelled too badly. I think I could hang with the intermediate (20 mile) road race, but I'm not sure. I don't want to end up way over my head.

Howdy.

I'm a cat 4 (based on starts, not results), and I'm doing RR II (21 miles). From what I've overheard in Pittsburgh, some of the stronger cat 4s will be doing RR I with the big boys, while others will be doing RR II. RR I is guaranteed shellage, I think, since there will at least some cat 2s in the mix, if not some cat 1s.
