Television needs more international Ping Pong action, because if the competition was anything like last night's Gold Medal Match between Wang Hao and Ma Lin, then I would certainly watch it.

Table Tennis > People jumping on trampolines (Although, Canada won a pair of Silver medals on this apparatus/back yard toy).

Add to that badminton, in both badminton and table tennis, there's easily 5x more screaming from the crowd than a Jedi fight.

This was the first year that I actually watched table tennis and badminton and it was pretty exciting. Beats watching a gal that can touch the back of her head with her toe while twirling a ribbon.

The best in the world is... well, the best in the world.

At the top levels of ANY sport, you have to be pretty damn good to be competitive.

I'm particularly proud of my great uncle, who came home from the '48 Olympics with a bronze medal in freestyle wrestling. There aren't many of those around.
