Touring - Cycling in Cuba

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Within the next six months we are hoping to cycle tour in Cuba. Does anyone know if there are regular buses from Jibacoa to Trinidad? Do they take bikes? How much would a taxi with two people and two bikes cost for the one-way trip?

I have been to Cuba 6 times and I have seen many cyclists from Canada on tour. Hope to do it myself someday when my schedule permits.

All non American's , no surprise there. Not an American freedom.. A friend once tried a cycling trip to Cuba.. As a cultural exchange... One time that was allowed. Request denied...
