I met a girl on Saturday during the summer streets ride who has one. It is typical of folders at that price--heavy, and with off-brand components. However, it is definitely a step up from the Citizen folders.
She doesn't ride it every day, so its fine for her. However, if you're planning on getting something that you're going to commute on, I would say its best to spend the extra money on something better.

I was going to get that as a starter bike to teach my nephews.
I found a place that sells them for $138, today I met an older
gentleman who had a bike that looks nicer than that for the same price.
I'm going to check out the place this week.
just two things concern me, the 18inch tires and band brake for the rear.
I'm not accustomed to seeing that but then I bought a bike with 12inch tires.

what do u think it compare to the dahon boardwalk? i can get the dahon boardwalk for around $205 including shipping. do u think it would be good to spend an additional $45 for the dahon boardwalk bike?

I bought my Caribike for $160 on ebay and love it so much I replaced all the parts except the frame, handlebars, and fenders.

Definitely. You'd spend that extra $45 bucks pretty darn quickly replacing stuff. The seat post on the zsport is waaaaaaaay too short, for starters.
Plus, the Boardwalk S1 is 8-10 pounds lighter!
