Well, it feels so good to get my old Bianchi back "between my legs". After a decade of frustration, last year I was finally properly diagnosed with 2 bad hips, and had them both totally replaced. Some might cringe at that thought, but believe me, it was worth it to get my life back. I will talk to any of you who may have to think about this.

My muscles are still in need of some work. Three days of gym, and 4 of riding (some days I do both) are helping. I found out today by riding from Petaluma to Marshall and back that I have a ways to go in the stamina dept. Lungs took it fine, legs need more work. I'm determined.

I ride an old Columbus Bianchi (Italian), with all Campy parts. That's why I still use the toe clips. Might change that concept soon. Anyone have a 36 chain ring and cog to fit my C Record crank and Suntour freewheel? LOL. J/K.

If you see an old man trudging along through the hills of Sonoma and Marin, West of HWY 101, ask if it's "SlotcarBob". Then, let's head for the nearest beer.

Safe riding.
Bob

P.S. Always looking for Campy parts from the 70's.

If you get north of San Antonia creek I'll meet you at the Hopmonk in Sebastapol. If you ever wind up in The Valley of The Moon drop by CSJ, I can get half off on wine there.
