I got blamed for all kinds of stuff as a kid.
Much less than I actually did ;-)

Once I got blamed for a guy's report bouncing when he
submitted it to an agency. The report
was an archaeological survey report. He was the project manager
and when the reviewing agency said it needed work
he blamed it on his field crew. I had a very strong urge to
push him off a building because we did everything according
to his specs.

Farting in an elevator. It was a "silent-but-deadly" fart, so there was no sound to identify the culprit. We were on an express elevator from the ground floor to floor 25, so we were stuck for a while. I played it cool and I don't think anyone knew it was me. I kinda feel bad for everyone else. I farted, and it was really me.

Hey. If anything happens, it's always "Siu did it". But it's never really me.

I had someone shrink wrap this guy in his car who always took too long of a break. I found him asleep in his car and had it shrink wrapped around the doors and windows.

Boy was he pissed. Took him FOREVER to get outta there.

I was walking through a pasture with my brother. There was a bull in the pasture. My brother threw a rock at the bull. The bull blamed me. :notamused:

Let's just say it involved a grassy knoll near a book depository.

Let's just say I have a deep-seated hatred of Lincolns, and am a poor shot.

I worked at a record store when I was a teenager. One night we came up $100 + short. I was like 'holy crap - wtf? I hate that **** cause it cast suspicion on all of us...'

My manager looked at me and said 'even if you had a hundred bucks on you right now I wouldn't think you would've done it'....

One of the best compliments I ever received.

That would be a major no. I was a fat nerd who was really disliked by all the girls.

Revenge was mine later, when I got in seriously good shape, and ran into some of the girls I went to grade school with, and they checked me out big time, and I wouldn't have touched them with a 70 foot pole.

In 5th grade we had a quiz one day. The last answer was at the very bottom of the page. I didn't have enough room to write my entire answer there, so I wrote the rest of it on the back of the sheet. When we got the graded tests back, the teacher had marked the last question saying I didn't give a complete answer. I showed her the back of the page and she accused me of writing that after it was graded. I kept explaining that I had written it while taking the test, but she just kept insisting I was lying to her. I got extremely upset, and she sent me to the guidance counselor. The teacher and the counselor were both up in my face as I sat there, telling me I was lying and saying "You need to be honest with yourself!" But I refused to back down because I WASN'T LYING! The teacher never believed me, and never changed my test score, and yes, it still makes me very angry when I think about it. http://209.85.12.232/4382/7/emo/Irate.gif

I got accused of blowing up a company van on purpose by the mechanic. I was lucky enough that it happened 400 miles away from home on a friday...WTH would destroy their only mode of transportation home for the weekend.

Of course I omitted the fact I'd floated the valves racing a nissan with a cute blond earlier in the week that started the engine knocking.

This one is reaching deep....

My sister would eat the middle out of oreo cookies and leave the chocalate wafer part in the package at my Grandma's house. When my Grandma found out, she asked each of us who had done but of course, my sister pleaded not guilty and guess who got the blame. I still remember that one it was at least 25 years ago. Strange how the mind hangs on to some things.

Age 30, helping my older brother and his family move to another house. His wife and I had a long history of conflict, all of it initiated by her because she was jealous over our close bond. Her two brothers said they would show up early in the morning to help with the heavy stuff, but they never did. So it was my brother and I doing all the work. 12 hours later the two brothers show up with pizza and beer. They ate pizza and drank beer, but did nothing since most of the work was done by then. The following day I helped by painting the upstairs hallway and rear landing. I finished early and bro said to call it a day. Later that night my mom stopped by, angrier than I've ever seen her. Bro's wife accused me of stealing $40 from her purse. She had the freaking gall to say it in front of my mother, who reacted as only a mother would - strongly in my defense. We've never received an apology for that.

I was on a flight last year and had the dessert, a scrumptious Pecan Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream. I couldn't take it anymore and let out a fart that would have killed a wild boar.

Everyone around me looked around and couldn't figure it out where that horrendous, odiferous, seemingly omnipotent stink cloud originated. :D

2nd thing 1st...ABSOLUTELY didn't do it. Last paragraph is proof.

1991-2 time frame, working O/N at a nursing home; checked doors, mopped floors, took out trash. One night, the 48" projection TV in the residents' lounge upstairs was on the ground floor, I wondered what the day crew was doing.

After work, home for three hours and asleep, I get a call from work -- "Do you know what happened to the lounge TV?" Told what I knew, went back to sleep. Got called in the next afternoon (my day off), and was told I was under suspicion for grand theft! Moonlighting County detective harassed me for three weeks, my family was staked out, and I was later accused of running an interstate theft ring.

Of, course, they solved the crime...a year later. Caught the guy who really did it, he confessed, not only to the theft, but to NO involvement with me, knew me only as the night janitor. He drove the kind of vehicle they were looking for, too. Now, I can understand their confusion; here I am, a 6'+, 200+ paleface, and he's a 5', 180# coffee-brown Jamaican. It's like we were twins separated at birth!

When I worked for another stereo store along time ago I used to drive my bosses car...a brand new 1990 teal green corvette. He sent me to the accountant that was right down the street from my house once and his brother in law ( no licence) decided to tag along...boss beeped us on the way to ask us to stop somewhere on the way back to the store so we stopped at my house to use the phone ( no cell phones yet) later my mother accused me of selling drugs.... didnt do it....she was just paranoid.

My first day at a new school in third grade, the kid behind me was making farting sounds. The teacher thought it was me and made me write my name on the board, even though I had nothing to do with it.

I was a major goodie-goodie (and still am) so it was absolutely traumatizing to me then and even now!

I was accused of stuffing flyers in ever nook and cranny in someone's car. In the hood vents, the wheels, through the grille, in the gaps between body parts, the door handles....that car looked like a giant yellow and purple flower!! People started taking pictures of it!!

Wasn't me. :notamused:
