yeah, i don't know much about it though and the power grips were cheap. if i go clipless, i want a pedal thats big enough that i can ride with normal shoes also

theres alot of clipless pedals that have a platform for regular shoes. just look around at the different brands. My personal favorite are eggbeaters.

Nice bike though! have fun riding it:D

whoo, just got back from takin the ol komodo for it's first run. very pleased. the geometry is much more fitting than the specialized and i can tell the frame is much lighter. i still need to put lighter oil in the fork, but thats another story. i hucked some decent drops and im only gettin half the travel. anyway.. its sweet! oh yeah, lizard skins, greatest thing ever. i used to use electrical tape to protect the chainstay, but the 'skins dampen the chainslap nicely.

The Eggbeater Mallet C pedal suits the bill. You can score a pair for about $80-90. The doucle sided clip in ability is really convienent and the big broad pedal is well suited for those quick trips when you don't want to change your shoes.
