Several years ago my brother-in-law borrowed my Cannondale Bugger trailer and lost the support rods for the canopy. I've been to ebay with no luck. I've even found some manufacturers of fiberglass rods that would work as replacements, but the cost of shipping is way out of line. I also contacted Cannondale and the girl on the phone acted like she had never heard of anything like a bicycle trailer. So, I have 2 questions: Where can I go to find replacement parts for this trailer, if there is such a place? And, if there are no replacement parts, does anyone know the exact dimensions of these rods so that I can make my own?

Paul,
I had a 'dale Bugger...about 20 years ago:innocent:. I suspect you are SOL. Check with your local backpacking store (not Dick's, Sports Authority, etc) or possibly REI. You can buy replacement tent poles in fiberglass or aluminum. All you need to do is figure out the size you need.

I have a bugger taking up space in my garage. I wouldnt put kids on it,but i do use it for around neighborhood chores.. shopping, etc.

Realizing this is a really old trailer, would there likely be a market for it? has anyone sold one recently and if i may be so bold...what did it fetch?

i have the trailer with the kiddie shell and the original style seatpost connector..( though most bikes with racks and fat seatposts, i had to jury rig a different connector.
