The English Patient. (Gets extra points for being over-rated. Sometimes an English accent is enough to win an Oscar, apparently.)
Honorable mention: Rumpleforeskin.

This recent one is near the bottom of my movie list...
I was bored and saw this on Starz and thought I would enjoy some action:
Redline
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780595/
It ended up being virtually no plot connecting chase/crash scenes. The worst part is the chase and crash scenes weren't any good either. I couldn't even finish watching it.

"Highlander II"
So bad it made the first movie suck.

I just went to IMDB and read the reviews for Redline, and find that most people agree with me. And the disturbing part... I realize now after reading one of the reviews that I watched the whole movie, and blanked it out of my mind.

It was truly BAD!!!
Really, you should go read through the reviews, it is that bad...
Here is one extract:
This movie has some of the most awesome cars I've ever seen in a movie, and definitely the hottest women, but I would have to say it is still one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Another extract:
Before watching this film I had very low expectations and went to just see the cars. Eventually I even regretted going for that reason.
The title of one:
Mind-numbingly awful would be an understatement.
These are pretty representative of the reviews from the first page.
Has anyone else seen this flick?
Return of the Jedi
Originally it was supposed to take place on the Wookie homeworld, but marketing decided teddy bears would sell better. Everything Lucas has done since sux.
Any Chevy Chase flick.
YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!!:notamused::mad:
Any Chevy Chase flick.
Are you kidding me???!!!! Fletch is one of the all time classics, right up there with Animal House. All down hill from there,, but Fletch is enough
ShowGirls

Battlefield Earth
As a sci-fi flick a miserable failure and just a gawdawful movie.
As a comedy (unintentional of course) it's brilliant!
The more times you watch it the funnier it is.

So many candidates...I will throw in:
Crash
Such an overbearing, self-important "film". The critics were afraid to criticize it.

While we're on the subject of Costner, Waterworld was better than the Postman.

American Flyers was horrible....but it was entertaining if you were drunk or stoned.

I was afraid to watch
ShowGirls
I had a friend who was the prototypical frat boy - his criteria for a "good" movie was in direct proportion to nudity, etc. A film could have no plot, poor sound, questionable ethics, etc etc - no matter, so long as some hot chicks had problems keeping their clothes on....
I'd heard about how bad Showgirls was, but when even HE gave it two thumbs down, I knew it had to be a stinker.

I know that a lot of folks will disagree with me on this one, but I thought "Sideways" was just painful to sit through. I have never found neurotic people to be the least bit entertaining.

Nah, +1, concurrence. That movie sucked. That said, nowhere near the complete suckitude that was Me, You, and Everyone We Know...a pseudointellectual meander into infuriating verbal chaff and boredom. Thank God I got comp tickets for that one...

You are fortunate to have missed The Postman, I read one review that said Waterworld was Citizen Kane compared to the Postman.
