Yesterday did it!!!! 104.20 miles in 8 hours and 43 minutes on my hybrid with 35c cross tires. One of the biggest motivators was passing some roadies who had to walk a couple of the hills (they were killer hills though). It was the only passing of roadies I did!
Other than that it pushed me physically, spiritually and emotionally to places I'd not been in a long time. Best part was my wife cheering as I crossed the finish. She'd completed the 50 miler earlier.:)

One new belt hole in my most used belts! Actually I do not know poundage wise. I try not to step on a scale too often. I'll probably weigh myself in a couple weeks.
Thanks for asking.

Keep up the good work - I'll bet they continue to fall off for quite some time!!!!!!!!!!!
One belt hole, probably looser, will amount to quite a bit.......

Congrats! When I read the title I said to myself, that's awfully light to be posting in the clydesdale section.

I thought it was going to be a thread about riding in the heat!
Nice job on the century, OP!
35mm 'crosser tires, eh? Do you ride much hardpack or crushed gravel trails? If not, you might consider a 32mm randonneuring tire; you'll get the same cushion without the added resistance of the 'crosser knobbies.
(I'd go nuts listening to vwrwrwrwrwrwr of the treads on the pavement for 8 hours)

Thanks everyone. I do often ride on crushed gravel and unpaved bike paths. The tires are Vittoria Randonneurs which have center ridge. They still weigh a pound each though.

Those are still a street tire more than a 'cross tire, I think. They look really nice for doing some gravel path rides as well as smooth rolling on the pavement.
Congratulations to you and your wife! Good Job! I bet 28mm tires would be a lot easier to pedal on a century. It wouldn't cost much or be much trouble to have both. Keep up the great work.
Congratulations!
BTW, we still have to meet for a ride. :)
