Introductions - Hello from the Great State of Kentucky

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My name is Wade and I am from rural South Central Kentucky. I am just getting in to bicycling after having lost 110 lbs (not to worry though I'm still very much a clydesdale). I ride a Gary Fisher Nirvana which I absolutely love.

I am married to a wonderful woman and we have two sons one is 3 years old and the other is 20 months old. I am a Spanish teacher, pastor, and an auctioneer. With all of that going on, I have found that cycling is one of the greatest stress relievers that I have ever found. In addition to that I can eaisly fit it into my schedule.

In closing, I really love this site. I have already recieved some information and some help with problems that I was having. Everyone is so nice and helpful. That has been a great help to this cycling newbie.

Wade

Hello Pastor Wade, there are quite a few pastors here on the board, and one of my favourites is Pastor Bob, who hangs out mostly in Classic & Vintage.

How did you manage to combine teaching spanish and auctioneering with being a pastor?

My wife tells me that I can do just about anything that involves running my mouth in front of people. The auctioneering is like a hobby for me, and the other two are callings. I really enjoy what I do.
