Hi,
I've ridden a ton of double centuries, but I've never used aero bars. Now I want to try some longer rides, and I want to use a pair of clip-on aerobars. Any thoughts on which are the best and why will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I used to use the Easton MOD bars. They're very adjustable and the extension attaches below the bar, which allows you to get lower.

Just curious, if you've ridden a ton of doubles, what do you consider to be longer rides?
I used the Oval Slam strap-ons until I got a TT bike, I liked the adjustability.

Personally, I like the fact that my longest ride (208 miles) was with OC Roadie... I don't know how much more I'd want to do in a single day.....

I have Syntace C2's and like them a lot, but they're old school now, so probably lots of newer ones out there! The C2's are comfortable, easy to steer and aero, so they suit me fine.

it's really hard to say what will fit you until you try few. i've got an old pair of profile bars similar to the airstryke model that you can borrow if your anywhere close to the sfv.
i've got the profile t2+ clip-ons now. i bought those because i need to get the pads back as far as possible and behind the handlebars so that i could elbows onto the pads. with all the other bars my forearms rest on the pads which is not very comfortable for me. since you're doing long distance events i'm assuming comfort is pretty important. it's one thing to ride a half hour time trial in an less than comfortable position and another in a double century.

If, by longer rides you mean doing randoneés, then forget about aero bars. They are generally against the rules.
I have a set of Easton Areo Force 31.7 Clip-on's (Medium) that I am selling in MINT condition and wrapped with new black cork tape. If anyone is interested drop me a PM.

I have the Syntace C3's (seem pretty similar to C2s) and I like them...
