I'm getting back on a bicycle at 60 after not riding for years. I've had an Atala in NYC in the 1970s, a Fuji and then an Eisentraut with Fuji parts in the 1980s in Charlotte, NC, and a Specialized hybrid that I didn't like the handlebars of in Philadelphia (didn't ride much there). I'm now getting set up with a Novara Safari with Shimano double sided pedals and live relatively close to the W&OD trail and quite close to the Fairfax Cross County Trail.

Welcome to BF. Glad to hear you got back to riding while you're still a kid. (I'm just a kid of 63 :thumb:)

Yes, I've had it for two weeks now. Need to drop some weight before I'm comfortable on it, so me and my little dog have upped the walking mileage.

He's a Border Terrier. A bit older now than when this picture was taken.

He's been trying to nail chipmunks.

I'm planning eventually to get him a bike trailer.
