Just curious as to how many guys over 30 yrs. old are still into BMX bikes. I am in my 30's and have been mountain biking and road biking lately. However, I just can't let go of the idea of getting a BMX bike again.

I'm 31, have been riding around for years on a classic Raleigh and a Haro 24" BMX Cruiser. I've ordered a 20" Stolen Wrap and am fixing up a 20" 1996 Hoffman after getting back into jumping curbs and messing up my shins trying to do all the tricks I tried to do in the late 80's/early 90's. Feels awesome to fall down again. I say go 4 it. You're only almost middle-aged once!

I'm 34 and am working on keeping a regular weekend schedule to ride the streets and parks on my DK. I'm not as fearless as I was in my teens, so it's taking me a little longer to learn(and re-learn) the basics but it's still just as fun! I enjoy catching air! The higher the better! Eventually, I'll replace my beat up old mtb for a 24" or 26" for trail and distance riding, but I always reach for my 20" first when I get time to ride.

Been thinking about it too. I know I had posted about which bike would suit me, but can't find the thread anymore... Thoughts? I'm 6'1 and interested in a race ready bike and preferably 20in. Thanks.

Coming up on 32 here, I recently got hit with the urge to cruise around on my '87 (turquiose with white accents) Diamondback Viper. I planned on going home and getting my old bike which was still hanging up in the basement at my folk's house last summer. I called my Dad the other day and he said he just took it down to Goodwill and got rid of it. I was looking forward to riding that heavy thing.

I ended up ordering a brown DK Eight Pack tonight.

39 .........40 in October. Haven't done much 20" in a few years. I wore out quite a few in the 70's and 80's though. I've been busy with mtb and Harley-Davidson lately and thought I would sell my '01 20 incher. It's just too good to give away for nothing, so I'm picking it up again.

interested in a race ready bike and preferably 20in. I have been looking at Redlines and toying with the race idea :). http://www.redlinebicycles.com/bmxracing/bikes/proline-pro-xl.html The Flight model is even nicer, but mo money.

39 and I just bought a 24 cruiser and I want to race again..... the sheet is harder now than it was before that for sure but fun as hell.
but I have hit the practice a few times at the track now I got to learn how to manual over the rythm sections.
It's way scarier at 39

Nothing extravagant. Maybe 500-600..:twitchy:

I'm 1.85m (6'1") if I forgot to mention it and pretty heavy..ok very heavy. Well, maybe not that heavy...95-97kg (209-214). Sprinter

I'd probably go with the Redline XXL. I don't like Redline as a company, but they're bikes are decent.

http://www.kuwaharabmx.com/laserlite%20team.html Or Redline Flight Pro XXL :)

And for a little less scratch this one looks like a good value https://www.jrbicycles.com/storefront/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=1949
