Foo - Official Foo Push-Up Challenge!!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I'm giving it a shot as well.
Anyone interested in giving it a try?
Let's see who can do the most good-form push-ups on October 31st. That gives you two whole months to train! Many have gone from being able to do only 5 push-ups to 50 or 100 in only 6-8 weeks!
It only takes 30 minutes per week (about 10 minutes, three times a week).
Let's do it!
8/11: 20
8/26: 35
9/26: 40
my noodle arms managed 30.
I'll try this out.

I can do about 60 in a row, and I'll let those of you who want to work harder than that hog all the glory. ;)

Will doing a push-up make me a more effective cyclist? Might make me look better on the bike, though. Like Kevin Spacey said in American Beauty,"I want to look good naked." Count me in.

Gawd, I have no upper body, but I managed 37 push-ups before collapsing in a heap.

ah crap, I do actually have homework I need to do tonight :p
I am up to 40. Anyone else still doing this? I had a few setbacks, but I am now beginning week 3 of the program and hope to hit at least 70-80 (if not the full 100) by the end of October.
Oo I'll try. I'm wearing a skirt so I'll do it tonight after I work out. I'm actually doing something similar to this in my weight lifting class. At the beginning of the semester you had to choose between doing sit-ups or push ups. Do as many as you can. At the end of the semester, you're tested again. (it's assumed that you would improve...thats if you trained).

I just ate and haven't been exercising much, but i'll see where i'm at tonight when i get home.
The only thing that holds me back from doing 100 is that my wrists give in after about 60.
But... count me in anyway :)

Is there a multiplying factor for excess weight?
I can't even envision doing 20 good pushups until I lose 100 pounds, and that won't happen in a few weeks.

I can do probably 15-20 with my skinny little arms. I don't need strong arms to run or bike.
