It’s the end of the work day and the mission looms. 45 min of head on a swivel, legs pumping, exhaust huffing riding. How will the traffic flow today? How will I hit the lights? How will that ONE intersection go? The one I worry about. I had to bail out of it this morning to same my skin. I worry about it but when I get there I attack it. The winds are up. Will the bike feel like a tank or jet? What song will get stuck in my head? I hope it’s not Anarchy in the UK again.

Damn I’m glad I don’t have to drive today.

Hmmm. I DO have to drive today. Sucks, I look behind me in my cube every couple of hours expecting the bike to be there-- nothing but an empty wall. :(

I'm sure the traffic will be terrible today too, and there will be people on bikes floating effortlessly by my roaring 7 mph.

Lucky bugger...

I had to drive today as I was meant to be flying to a client site tomorrow morning so needed to get laptop, paperwork etc home with me. Now it looks like the trip is being delayed until week... and it's a fantastic day to ride in Denver!!!!

  :fight:

Too funny! I notice myself checking my bike out periodically throughout the day also. I just figured I have some form of strange obsession - it's nice to know others suffer from the same malady that I do :)
