Does anyone know if I would be able to attach a Burley Piccolo to my Specialized Epic, or am I limited to the seatpost clamp designs for a trail-a-bike?

Thanks.

I think you can swap the Burley attachment for a skewer type attachment. I think it is Wike that makes the skewer attachment. Check out this previous thread (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=171450). They talk about doing the Wike skewer hitch switch on the Burley. Burley apparently offers or at least use to offer a skewer hitch option.

You're thinking of a Burley trailer. The Piccolo is a "tag-a-long". It must be attached to the Burley Moose Rack. Sorry, I don't the Moose Rack can be mounted on the Epic, or most other full-suspension bikes.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. Looks like I'll be going with a seatpost clamp model. Thanks for the help.

Doh!! I knew that :innocent:. I have a Piccolo and have had a Burley trailer. You are correct Phantoj, I also do not think the rack can be mounted to full suspension bikes. I think there are some full suspension configurations that rack could mount to but not most current ones.
