These are the shimano XT v-brakes.
3 sides out of 4 of my v-brakes have little play in the pad holder assembly. I don't know where the play
comes from. Just wanted to find out if there's a way to get rid of the play.
Is the play between the pad and carrier or carrier and rest of the brake assembly?

Are these older generation XT V-brakes?

It is on the pivot point of the black brake holder assembly and the chrome brake body.
Model is Deore XT BR-M739.
