Well, right now I'm training for cyclocross this fall, however, I don't have a bike. The problem is, I'm not sure if i wanna race geared or race ss. I've been riding ss bikes for 2 years now and i like the simplicity of them alot, but I'm not sure if it would be best for racing...I need opinions on if I should build up/buy a ss or geared bike. I need advice on what would work best

race whatever you want not what someone says you should. I currently race SS and it has its advantages and disadvantages over geared. A strong case can be made for either discipline so just ride what you like.
