I just moved to DC and I want a bike to ride around the city to work and some parks. I found an 05 Jamis Nova on CL for $450, the guy bought if off of ebay and it doesn't fit him so he wants to sell it instead of having to pay shipping costs to send it back. I haven't seen any pictures of it, I'm going to go check it out tomorrow. Is this a fair price? Are there things that I should be looking out for when I ride it? I've never bought a bike before, much less a used one. I'm sorry if this kind of post is looked down upon; I didn't see anything in the rules about it, and since it is a cyclocross bike, I thought I would post here. Thanks for your help.
