I live in the Dallas area. I've been biking as an adult for about 26 years now, 99% w/ roadbikes.
It all started in my late 20's when I started gaining weight and thought I needed a little exercise. My brother in law was a cat2 racer so that got me interested in cycling. Back in those days it was a lot different. Rallies were a lot more informal, and usually pretty small. Bicycle mechanics was easier too, at least less complicated. Things change, my work and my wife make more demands on my time, but I'm glad to still be riding.

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
