Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The support bolt that goes through the brace and just touches the fork crown - on one side (front) is a spring, and on the other (fork) side is a nut. Is it a locknut, to be tightened up against the brace, or should it be up against the fork crown to help spread out the load of the bolt? The directions don't say, and the pic of the setup is too vaque to tell.
It's Keirin. Not kierin.
The bolt should be against the fork, I guess. There was another thread quite recently where someone (Nateintokyo?) explained the same issue in detail. In here. (http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=7188851&postcount=2)
